TCAS Monthly Meeting Notes

meeting was called to order by president, Richard Hart at
The minutes were read.
The club president mentioned that Paul Sqwires had died and the club sent flowers and a card.
Lynn Scala, daughter of Jean Mark, former club member sent a card thanking the club for their kindness and remembrance..
There were 26 members and 10 visitors present.
Another request was made for volunteers to help plant coins, count coins, bring food and to help serve the food.
Mitch King brought in a box of 2500 pennies with which he paid his dues. The pennies will be painted and used for the hunt on March 12.
Mitch received a letter from Adventure In Metal Detecting, a company that wants to video the hunt on March 12th. During the filming they would like to interview organizers for a brief history of the Wabasso 18th Annual Benefit Hunt and interview the participants about how much fun the hunt is. The interviews and other footage filmed will be placed on an “Adventures in Metal Detecting” Video/DVD as a short segment for everyone to view.
Jim Stewart would like to get a group together for a day trip to go metal detecting. He will check the tides and decide on a day for the month of April. He will need drivers.
